Openings
also referred to as thresholds are important design elements, found everywhere
in our built environment. While reading the definition one realizes that
the word can be interpreted in numerous ways. The students' main aim is to interpret and visually represent through
experimentation and the techniques they will be learning how they perceive a
“threshold” space. This will be accomplished through both two dimensional and three dimensional investigations.
